Style Tip: Coloured Denim

9:00 AM

From jewel-toned turquoise, to wearable indigo, to trend-led oxblood, this season has been all about mixing up the classic plus size jeans with coloured denim. Whether pairing them with tan long boots and a cosy knit for effortless, everyday style, or vamping up with heeled court shoes and a slinky plus size top in the evenings, we love coloured denim at Evans.

Add colour to your everyday look with these Plum Jeggings. Team with a printed shirt and wide fit boots for an effortless daytime style.

Coloured denim is a fabulous way to lend vibrant hues to your look whilst remaining ultra comfortable and practical. Especially for the colder months, choose a pair of figure hugging jeans designed especially at Evans to fit and flatter your shape. Pear shapes can opt for these Wine Bootcut Jeans, perfectly fitted for their shape with a nipped in waist and shape balancing volume from the bootcut leg.

For those a little more daring and who are all about the fashion, we love these Red Spot Jeans that are super comfy and flattering in a cotton blend. We’d pair ours with a cosy knitted jumper and wide fit ankle boots for winter chic.

How will you be wearing coloured denim this winter? Let us know in the comments, we’d love to hear from you!

It’s all very well that coloured jeans are “in” right now, but I’ve always found Evans jeans completely the wrong fit for me. Unfortunately, the trend for other types of trousers (excluding the summer linen range) is for dull colours such as black, brown and grey.

This wasn’t always the case – I distinctly remember having casual trousers in a nice shade of lavender, and work trousers in a light green, etc etc. When will colour come back to these other types of trousers? I’m sick of my dull samey work trousers!
