The warm weather means it’s time to free our feet from tights and socks and show off our toes in this season’s stunning sandals. They’re gorgeous!
The three most popular types of summer sandals this season are wedges, gladiator sandals and heels and they all look fabulous for different reasons.
Gladiator Sandals
Gladiator sandals compliment this summers tribal look and they are ideal for when you’re busy as they’re completely flat and give you freedom to move. However, they’re more stylish than flip flops and the straps around your foot and ankle give you more support.
Wedges
Wedges are for occasions when you want to lengthen your legs and walk taller and with more confidence. They’re still super comfortable as the pressure is spread out over the flat base of the shoe but they’re more suited for evening events or when you want to make a real effort.
High Heels
Heels are summer’s party shoe. They’re the finishing touch to your dress or trouser suit so that you make an entrance in style.

Hi,
This is Anjula and Shuchi and we are fashion stylists from Material Thangs Styling Group. We are based in New York and are here to bring you some styling tips on how to recreate catwalk looks to best flatter your body shape!
Skinny bottoms have been a popular trend for many seasons now, but there was no denying the number of wide silhouettes gracing the 2011 summer runways! For a pear-shaped figure, the super wide leg is a flattering choice. Evans Blue Super Wide Leg Trouser is made of a soft jersey material that drapes over the hips in a way that will flatter your bottom. There are no pockets or other details that add bulk to this wide cut, instead Evans have added a v-shaped waist band that smoothes out and flatters the stomach area. The super wide leg creates an a-shape silhouette for your body and will make your waist look smaller if worn with the right top.
To elongate your torso, pair the wide leg trouser with more fitted tops and avoid baggier cuts that will add volume to your figure. Curvy fashionistas can tuck in their top and add a waist belt to highlight the narrowest area of the torso. This will help add curve to the upper body, while conceal any problem areas that you may have on the bottom. The wide leg trouser is a great piece to wear for hotter days, since they are loose and comfortable. Picnics, barbeques and other casual occasions can always use a comfortable wide leg trouser. For fancier occasions, use accessories and dressier tops to play up this trouser. If the evening gets breezy, add a cardigan or jacket that extends to the mid-hip for the most flattering look.
How will you be wearing your wide leg trousers this season?
