Interview with Tocarra Jones. . .
Jay-Z has described Toccara Jones as one of the most beautiful ladies in the world. We have to agree after seeing her strike up a variety of sexy poses for our Autumn 2010 catalogue shoot. How does she do it?
"How did you get into modeling?"
TJ: "I’ve always been a bit of a performer and one day I was watching America’s Next Top Model on TV and they were looking for contestants. I took part in the third series and although I didn’t win, I haven’t stopped working since."
"What else do you do apart from Evans?"
TJ: "One of my most high profile jobs was for Rocawear. I launched their first plus size range. I’ve started doing some presenting work for the BET channel in the States and I am auditioning for some movie roles."
"What are Jay-Z and Beyonce really like?"
TJ: "They’re good people. They’re genuine."
"What advice would you give anyone wanting to model?"
TJ: "Firstly, be brave. This is my first ever lingerie shoot. You have to do things that push your boundaries and that involves trusting the other people involved in the shoot. Also, know your body. Practice posing in the mirror so you know how to pull it off for the camera."
"How can anyone strike up a good pose?"
TJ: "A lot of it is linked to your eyes. If you look like you’re having fun then you are instantly more attractive."
