Hooray for Grazia, who this week have dedicated an entire page of the magazine to the rise of plus size blogging. In fact, the topic is number nine in their ten hot stories.
In the piece, Ollie Picton-Jones (once a size 18 herself) profiles some of the most high profile ‘fatshionistas’ online, including Fat Girls Like Nice Clothes Too’s Dina and Frock and Frou’s Lilli. She also goes on to explain how important it is that women of all shapes and sizes have their place in the blogosphere, stating that “these bloggers are doing a favour to everyone who loves fashion.”

The Grazia blog is following up on the story with a comment debate asking whether these blogs are annoying or empowering. Talk about a no-brainer! These girls look amazing, they write well, they promote positive body image at any size, and they are challenging stereotypes in a really creative way. What’s not to love?
