As seen in Cosmopolitan Magazine this week, fashion for all sizes has become this season’s hot topic.
The new Evans campaign is all about celebrating curves through fabulous clothes for real women. Evans models like Crystal Renn are currently making fashion headlines, and more and more curvier models than ever are appearing on catwalks and in magazines. There’s never been a better time to be curvy and fashion-fabulous.
how fab is it that plus size models are goin to b seen in cosmo did you think you would ever see the day? i certainly didnt. lets hope evans start showing off their fab stock more too.
While I definitely appreciate the press that Evans is getting, my enthusiasm is very much tempered by the fact that the models in this campaign, or at least in this picture, look very, very thin.
Would it really not be possible for Evans use models who are gorgeous/youthful/etc., but in a U.K. size 20, or at least an 18?
I’m just looking for models to be at least a bit more curvy looking. I don’t even mean Beth Ditto; just girls who actually LOOK plus-size. Please.
While I don’t think those models are plus size by any stretch of the imagination, it is nice to see some size diversity in such a big magazine. I can’t wait for that military jacket on the first model to be available, I have to have it.
Thanks for your comments and we hear what you are saying. Although all our models are ‘plus size’ by definition, we promise to take your comments on board going forward.
Love the new look of evans, please can anyone tell me when the jacket in the middle will be in store or at least online. Im itching to wear it!! Thanks!
It will be available when the spring catalogue launched at the end of this month.
